REINFORCING EUROPE’S LEADERSHIP: CLEAN TECHNOLOGIES, COMPETITIVENESS AND CLIMATE NEUTRALITY

Europe enters 2026 at a decisive moment in its energy transition. After years of crisis-driven responses and major regulatory reforms, the focus is now shifting toward implementation, turning strategies into concrete projects that strengthen Europe’s economic resilience, technological leadership and climate ambition.

Yet Europe continues to face pressure from high energy costs, global industrial competition and persistent supply chain vulnerabilities. Delivering modern grids, scaling clean technologies, securing raw materials and ensuring predictable conditions for investment have become central to Europe’s long-term competitiveness.

The EU Energy Summit 2026 will explore how to transform Europe’s policy foundations into real-world progress: deploying clean energy infrastructure, accelerating innovation and building an energy system that is stable, affordable and fit for a net-zero economy.

Our mission statement

Our mission is twofold: we aim to bring politics and business together in order to provide them with an opportunity to debate and pursue their common goals, giving a voice to all sides of the debate. The other priority of EBS is to provide European institutions with a platform where they can place their top priorities in the spotlight and advance the development of new pieces of legislation through discussion with a variety of actors and stakeholders.
