About the European Health Summit

A Healthier Europe, Together

The European Health Summit (EHS) was founded in response to growing concerns about the lack of attention given to health as a core pillar of European Union policy and economic strategy. Health is not just a sector - it is a foundation for innovation, competitiveness, sustainability, and social well-being across the continent.

Our goal is clear: to position the EU as a global health leader. This means nurturing innovation and knowledge within Europe, sharing best practices globally, and ensuring that no patient needs to leave the continent to receive world-class care.

Since its first edition in 2020, launched at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, EHS has grown into a dynamic, year-round platform. It fosters meaningful, non-partisan dialogue between policymakers, industry leaders, civil society, and academia, in close alignment with the EPSCO Council. Through exclusive roundtables, working lunches, strategic dialogues and our flagship Biotechnology & Life Sciences Initiative, we work to keep health firmly at the top of the EU agenda - not only as a conversation, but as a driver of policy, investment, and impact.
