EHS RARE DISEASES EDITION IN MADRID
The European Health Summit is taking its conversation beyond Brussels, bringing its next high-level convening to Madrid in close partnership with the Spanish Ministry of Health.
Now, as the country develops it’s next Strategy, with a stronger focus on results, continuous monitoring and alignment with the forthcoming European Action Plan for Rare Disease 2025-2029, Spain is at a pivotal moment in shaping the next phase of rare disease policy.
This makes Madrid a timely setting to connect national experience with European ambition. This event will bring together policymakers, institutions, patient representatives, clinicians, researchers, innovators and industry leaders to explore how national leadership can inform, and be strengthened by, a more coordinated European approach.
By bringing the European Health Summit to Madrid, EHS creates a space at a moment of real policy momentum, connecting Spain’s experience and emerging priorities with the wider European agenda, and helping shape a more coordinated, results-oriented and forward-looking approach to rare diseases.
Building on decades of expertise in EU affairs, event planning and facilitation, EBS develops and implements communication, dissemination, and advocacy strategies for EU-funded projects (e.g., Horizon Europe, Erasmus+) across a wide array of topics.
The overall objective of ERAMET is to provide an integrated approach for developers and regulators’ decision-making for paediatric and orphan drugs, centred on the drug development questions.
NOVATERRA is an EU-funded Horizon 2020 project which aims to maintain current yields and quality in Europe while eliminating or significantly reducing the use of pesticides.
SHERPA is a project that investigates and analyses our understanding of the ways in which Smart Information Systems impact ethics and human rights issues.
Our mission is twofold: we aim to bring politics and business together in order to provide them with an opportunity to debate and pursue their common goals, giving a voice to all sides of the debate. The other priority of EBS is to provide European institutions with a platform where they can place their top priorities in the spotlight and advance the development of new pieces of legislation through discussion with a variety of actors and stakeholders.
